The PENH frame clearance of 700x50c, perfect for tackling the toughest tracks.
Each tube of the frame are made of a multi-layer bamboo fibers oriented providing excellent reactivity and control. Tubes and lugs cross sections varies for a better distribution of force while maintaining low weight.
Overall, the Penh bike frame’s design and use of bamboo fibers make it a unique and reliable option for riders who value performance, comfort, and sustainability.

The PENH is a bamboo composite frame developed by SOBEN and manufactured in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Each frame is built using bamboo composite construction, ensuring high durability, precision, and repeatability.

GEOMETRY
Crafted in our workshop, our team’s experience in bikepacking and gravel has enabled us to create a frame that delivers a contemporary and sporty feel. Thanks to a 20mm longer reach, the frame is compatible with drop bar and flatbar, which brings even more versatility.
We offer 6 standard sizes as well as custom sizes, in order to fit you as closely as possible!

bamboo composite
Our frames are made using 90% bamboo fibers produced by SOBEN and 10% carbon fibers. This combination of materials has helped to reduce our carbon footprint and provides the optimal frame performance.
SOBEN is using GreenPoxy resin, developed and manufactured in France by Sicomin. We choose it for their bio-based carbon content of 30% and high mechanical properties.
The weight of the PENH frame is 2.1kg. We have found the optimal balance between lightweight design, efficiency, and comfort.
Highly compatible
The PENH frame is designed to work seamlessly with various components. Some key highlights include a bottom bracket BSA, Sram UDH hanger, and internal cable routing.
The frame is more than ready for carying your goods with efficiency and style! It comes equipped with eyelets that allow to fix by M5 screws a top tube bag and a full frame bag, no need anymore straps!

MAKE YOUR FRAME UNIQUE
SOBEN provides a variety of bamboo fibers that are naturally dyed in shades ranging from light to dark. We also offer a choice of one spray paint color. Please let us know which color you prefer.
The final clear vernish is both UV and water-resistant, added to the bamboo rot-proof properties it ensure the frame longevity.
