With our technology, we can help you achieve any geometry, curve, shape or add-on that you desire for your frame. The only limit is your own creativity.
By changing fibers orientation in each tube section, we can create frames that are stiffer in some areas and more compliant in others, depending on the rider’s needs.
Our multiaxial bamboo fibers tubes and our junctions reinforcement techniques ensure that the frame is strong and durable, even under the most demanding riding conditions.

Our bike customization options include spray paint, transfer stickers, and glossy/matte varnish, allowing you to create the bike of your dreams. Following an in-house frame photo shoot, we’ll meticulously ship the frames worldwide. Typically, our customers can expect to receive their SOBEN bike frame 4-6 months after placing their order.

In summary, we offer the Soben Frame Project, which includes a 3D view of the frame, as well as its geometry and specifications. This typically takes one to two weeks to complete.

You’ll be an integral part of this journey as we will update you and ask you to confirm details such as bamboo dye, junctions style, and plot positions. We’ll provide you with pictures taken directly from the workshop to assist you in this decision-making process.

Our frames are made using 90% bamboo fibers produced by SOBEN and 10% carbon fibers. This combination of materials has helped to reduce our carbon footprint and provides the optimal frame performance.
SOBEN is using GreenPoxy resin, developed and manufactured in France by Sicomin. We choose it for their bio-based carbon content of 30% and high mechanical properties.

A custom build always start from your requirements, including the choice of components. We will adapt and develop the frame interfaces to fit your components.

SOBEN is managing all the design and manufacturing steps, it is then very easy for us to tweak your build. We can add rear dynamo cable routing, more eyelets on main tubes or stays, adjustable double bottle holder on down tube, custom stickers and more…
MAKE YOUR FRAME UNIQUE
SOBEN provides a variety of bamboo fibers that are naturally dyed in shades ranging from light to dark. We also offer a choice of one spray paint color. Please let us know which color you prefer.
The final clear vernish is both UV and water-resistant, added to the bamboo rot-proof properties it ensure the frame longevity.
